Gleptosil® 250mLInjectable Iron for Piglets
Piglets born and reared under intensive conditions can rapidly become deficient in iron and develop anaemia. Without timely supplemental iron, they may experience decreased vitality, poorer growth and increased susceptibility to disease.
Gleptosil® provides iron as gleptoferron in a single, accurately measured intramuscular dose. The meat withholding period is zero (0) days.
Intramuscular injection
Inject into the soft area behind the ear, within the anterior half of the neck. The injection must be given deep into the muscle.
Important: Restrain the piglet safely and use clean, sharp equipment of an appropriate gauge and length.
Store below 30°C (room temperature). Do not open the sachet until required for use. Use the contents within 28 days of first broaching the vial and discard any unused portion.
